CM was awarded a four-year, $440,000 FIPSE grant from the US Department of Education to establish the Transnational Dual Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems (TRADIS). FIPSE, the Fund for the Improvement of Secondary Education, will allow a cohort of students from four universities--the College of Management, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt, Germany, and the Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences in Kemi, Finland--to spend a semester together on each campus. The TRADIS students will gain an international perspective on the study of information systems and will engage in real-world projects with leading corporations. The grant will help fund student travel and living expenses while aboard as well as faculty exchanges through the program.
